Focus of attention and velocity of the dominant arm during a simulated spike in volleyball

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit vliv zaměření pozornosti na rychlost dominantní paže při simulovaném útočném úderu ve volejbale. První část teoretické části popisuje aspekty, týkající se útočné činnosti ve volejbale, konkrétně fyzických, technických a taktických požadavků pro úspěšné provedení útočného úderu. Druhá část se věnuje samotnému zaměření pozornosti, rozdíly mezi interními a externími instrukcemi a tomu, jak výrazný vliv dokáže zaměření pozornosti mít na okamžitou výkonost a motorické učení. Kinematická analýza pohybu byla provedena v programu Qualysis. Výsledková část ukazuje, že nebyly zjištěny žádné rozdíly mezi rychlostmi dominantní paže při simulovaném útočném úderu ve volejbale mezi jednotlivými podmínkami.

Abstract:

The aim of bachelor thesis was to find out how can the attentional focus affect velocity of the dominant arm during simulated volleyball spike. First part of the theoretical part describes aspects relating to volleyball spike, specially the physical, technical and tactic ones, which are the most important to achieve a successful volleyball spike. Second part of the theoretical part speak about the attentional focus itself, about the internal and external instructions and how important affect it can has on immediate performance and on motor learning. Kinematic analysis of the movement has been accomplished with help of Qualysis program. The resulting part shows, that there weren´t find any significant differences between conditions.
