Chronic inflammation of pancreas and its relationship to cancer
Abstract:
Práce se v obecném úvodu zabývá popisem chronického zánětu se zaměřením na tkáň pankreatu, významem jednotlivých signálních drah a jejich vztahem ke karcinogenezi. Dále jsou rozebrány potencionální možnosti terapeutického ovlivnění. V praktické části jsou popsány vlastní výsledky stanovení exprese COX-2 v jednotlivých stupních postižení pankreatické tkáně.
Abstract:
The theoretical background of the thesis describes chronical inflammation in pancreatic tissue, importance of particular signalling pathways and their relationship to carcinogenesis. Potentional therapeutical implications are also discussed. The practical part of the thesis presents our results of COX-2 expressions in different stages of pancreatic disease.
