Local, polynomial and robust filters

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci je čtenář stručně seznámen se standardně používanými lokálními filtry, které odhadují stav nelineárních stochastických systémů. Konkrétně se jedná o rozšířený Kalmanův filtr, unscentovaný Kalmanův filtr a diferenční filtr. Čtenář je blíže seznámen s polynomiálními filtry, jakožto filtry, které využívají znalosti vyšších momentů náhodných veličin popisujících šumy působících na systém a měření. Podrobně je představen nejjednodušší zástupce polynomiálních filtrů, kvadratický filtr. Druhou skupinou podrobně představených filtrů jsou robustní filtry. Tyto filtry je vhodné použít pro odhad stavu systému, jehož přesný model není k dispozici. Čtenáři jsou také představeny dva základní typy nelineárních robustních filtrů. Kapitoly týkající se kvadratických a robustních filtrů jsou doplněny o simulační výsledky potvrzující funkčnost daných filtrů.

Abstract:

This thesis briefly introduces the reader to ordinarily used local filters which estimate the state of nonlinear systems. Namely there are extended Kalman filters, unscented Kalman filter and divided difference filter. The reader gets familiar with polynomial filters which use higher moments of random variables that cover noises affecting the system and the measurement. The simplest kind of polynomial filters, quadratic filter, is introduced in detail. The second group of closely presented filters is robust filters. These filters can be suitable for the state estimation of the systems which are described by the uncertain model. To the reader are also introduced the two basic types of the nonlinear robust filters. The chapters about polynomial and robust filters are provided with the simulation results confirming the functionality of these filters.
