Švýcarský systém šachových turnajů

Swiss system of chess tournaments
Abstract:
In this thesis we study functioning of the Swiss system of chess tournaments. We describe the Elo rating, tie-breaking systems and their correlation with Swiss system. We analyze the tournament organized by Dutch version of Swiss system. In the model example we compare the accuracy of the final ranking between Swiss system and Single elimination system. The thesis is based on the cited references.
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme fungování Švýcarského systému šachových turnajů. Popisujeme Elo rating, pomocná hodnocení a jejich vzájemný vztah se Švýcarským systémem. V práci analyzujeme turnaj organizovaný Holandským Švýcarským systémem. V modelovém příkladu srovnáváme přesnost určení konečného pořadí mezi Švýcarským systémem a vyřazovacím systémem.
