Hlavním předmětem diplomové práce je nový institut komunitárního práva - evropský platební rozkaz. Práce prezentuje vývoj úpravy, řízení o jeho vydání a jeho komparaci s českým platebním rozkazem. Práce dále pojednává o soudní příslušnosti k vydání evropského platebního rozkazu, specifikách jeho doručování v České republice a obsahuje náhled na problematiku z pohledu de lege ferenda.
