Tato práce pojednává o výrobě slaňovací osmy, jejím účelu a různých způsobech využití. V první části je představen celý koncept, historie a funkce, spolu s možným využitím různých materiálů. Praktická část se zabývá návrhem a designem tvaru osmy, aby co nejlépe plnila svou funkci. K tomuto účelu je použit program Solid Edge 2020. This bachelor thesis deals with manufacturing of rappelling figure eight and its use for climbing by diverse ways. In the first part, the whole concept, history, and function is introduced along with possible use of variate materials.
