The X-ray systems for security screening of hand luggage

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o využití rentgenu při bezpečnostních prohlídkách zavazadel. Zaměřuje se na jeden konkrétní objekt a zde pracující operátory rentgenu. Teoretická část je věnovaná popisu rentgenu využívaného při bezpečnostních prohlídkách, rozlišení typů přístrojů a jeho funkce. Dále se věnuje okrajově i katastrofám, které souvisejí se zavedením a inovacemi bezpečnostních prohlídek. V praktické části se práce zaobírá uplatněním rentgenů v oblasti bezpečnostních prohlídek příručních zavazadel v konkrétním zvoleném objektu, zaměřuje se na práci operátorů a pomocí dotazníků a řízeného rozhovoru analyzuje pracovní postupy, zkušenosti a názory daného okruhu operátorů. V řízeném rozhovoru bylo značně cíleno na hlavní a záložní rentgen. Návrhová část vychází ze získaných dat a zaměřuje se na možnosti zlepšení práce s rentgenem při bezpečnostních prohlídkách.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the use of X-rays in security screening of luggage. It focuses on one specific object and X-ray operators working here. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of X-rays used in security inspections, the distinction of types of devices and its function. It also deals marginally with disasters related to the introduction and innovation of security checks. In the practical part, the work deals with the application of X-rays in the field of security screening of hand luggage in a specifically selected object, focuses on the work of operators and uses questionnaires and guided interviews to analyze working procedures, experiences and opinions of the operator. In the controlled interview, the main and backup X-rays were highly targeted. The suggestion part is based on the obtained data and focuses on the possibilities of improving work with X-rays during security examinations.
