Professional Values of Educators in Children's Homes

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu profesních hodnot vychovatelů, kteří pracují v dětských domovech, a využívá kvantitativního přístupu za pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Teoretická část se zabývá významem hodnot v profesní sféře s důrazem na kontext dětských domovů a roli vychovatelů v této oblasti. Primárním cílem výzkumu je popsat, které hodnoty vychovatelé považují za nejvýznamnější v rámci jejich pracovního prostředí. Výsledky studie by mohly přispět k lepšímu porozumění hodnotových preferencí vychovatelů a poskytnout podporu a rozvoj v oblasti profesního růstu při péči o dětí umístěných v dětských domovech.

Abstract:

The work focuses on analyzing the professional values of educators working in children's homes, utilizing a quantitative approach through questionnaire surveys. The theoretical part deals with the significance of values in the professional sphere, emphasizing the context of children's homes and the role of educators in this field. The primary objective is to describe which values educators consider most significant within their work environment. The study results could contribute to a better understanding of educators value preferences and provide support and development in the area of professional growth in caring for children placed in children's homes.
