Abstract:
Práce se zabývá genderovým kontextem ve výtvarném umění v subsaharské Africe a v USA. Nejprve jsou v ní rozebírány pojmy genderu a umění. Poté se zaměřuje na situaci ve vzdělání, zaměstnání a na trhu s uměním.
Abstract:
The dissertation deals with gender issues in visual arts in sub-Saharan Africa and in the United States. First, the concepts of gender and art are described. Later, the focus moves towards situation in education, employment and on art market.
