Regional differences in reproduction of the population

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá reprodukcí obyvatelstva na úrovni krajů ČR. Reprodukcí je zde myšlena přirozená měna populace, tzn. rození a vymírání. Jde tedy o analýzu demografických procesů úmrtnosti a porodnosti. Z důvodu úzké souvislosti s procesem porodnosti je v práci zohledněn i proces potratovosti. Cílem je popis, zhodnocení vývoje a srovnání vybraných ukazatelů na úrovni krajů České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a analytickou část. V teoretické části je popsáno územní členění ČR, jednotlivé demografické procesy úmrtnosti, porodnosti a potratovosti včetně jejich charakteristik a metoda standardizace. Analytická část se zabývá vývojem vybraných ukazatelů v krajích ČR reprezentujících zmíněné demografické procesy od roku 2000 a porovnáním vybraných ukazatelů v roce 2011 mezi jednotlivými kraji. Výsledkem práce je vyhodnocení rozdílností v úmrtnosti a porodnosti mezi kraji a důvody jejich vzniku.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the reproduction of the population at regions CZ Reproduction is meant here natural change of population, ie. birth and extinction. It is an analysis of demographic processes of mortality and fertility. Because of the close connection with the process of birth is reflected in the work process of abortion. The aim is to describe, evaluation of the development and comparison of selected indicators at the regional level Czech Republic. The work is divided into theoretical and analytical part. In the theoretical section describes the territorial division of the Czech Republic, individual demographic processes of mortality, fertility and abortion, including their characteristics and method of standardization. The analytical part deals with the development of selected indicators in regions representing the mentioned demographic processes since 2000 and a comparison of selected indicators in 2011 between the regions. Result of this work is to evaluate differences in mortality and fertility between the regions and the reasons for their occurrence.
