Nursing Care of a Patient with a Subdural Hematoma

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou jednoho z kraniocerebrálních zranění mozku, a to subdurálním hematomem. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit míru informovanosti sester v pooperační péči o pacienty se subdurálním hematomem. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá anatomií lebky a mozku, vznikem, diagnostikou a léčbou subdurálního hematomu. Je zde také popisována ošetřovatelská péče o pacienty s tímto zraněním. V praktické části bakalářské práce se nachází výsledky výzkumného kvantitativního šetření pomocí techniky dotazníku. Je určen pro všeobecné a praktické sestry pracující na chirurgických jednotkách intenzivní péče. Na základě dotazníkového šetření vznikl informační leták.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of one of the craniocerebral brain injuries, namely subdural hematoma. The main aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out the level of nurses' awareness in postoperative care of patients with subdural hematoma. It is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy of the skull and brain, the occurrence, diagnosis and treatment of subdural haematoma. It also describes the nursing care of patients with this injury. The practical part of the bachelor thesis contains the results of a quantitative research investigation using the questionnaire technique. It is intended for general and practical nurses working in surgical intensive care units. Based on the questionnaire survey, an information leaflet was created.
