Diplomová práce pojednává o tématu periferně zaváděných centrálních žilních katétrů (PICC). Skládá se ze dvou částí, teoretické a empirické. The diploma thesis deals with the subject of peripherally inserted central venous catheters (PICC). The thesis is composed of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the history of central venous access devices, the introduction of PICC, indications and contraindications, the complications of PICC and especially the specific nursing care.
