Visualization of finite-memory strategies for games on graphs

Abstract:

Patrolling games are games betweeen defender and attacker on directed graph. The defenders task is to detect the attacks on the nodes from a attacker. The attacker can observe strategies of the defender so the defender must use randomized strategies. The main aim of this thesis is to implement a graphic representation of the strategy, which processes and displays appropriate graphical representations of strategies. The theoretical part contains what are patroling games, visual techniques for patrol games and what memory strategy is. In the next chapters, we describe the design of the graphic representation of the strategy, its control and implementation and finally testing our implementation.

Abstract:

Patrolovacie hry sú hry medzi obrancom a útočníkom na orientovanom grafe. Obranca má za úlohu detekovať aktivity útočníka na vrcholu. Útočník vie pozorovať stratégie obrancu, čiže obranca musí používať náhodné stratégie. Cieľom tejto práce je implementovať grafické zobrazenie stratégie, ktoré spracuje a zobrazí vhodné grafové reprezentácie stratégii. Teoretická časť obsahuje čo sú patrolovacie hry, vizuálne techniky pre patrolovacie hry a čo je pamäťová stratégia. V ďalších kapitolách opisujeme návrh grafického zobrazenia stratégie a jeho ovládanie, implementáciu a nakoniec testovanie našej implementácie.
