Zvyšující se výskyt multirezistentních bakterií a nástup postantibiotické éry podporuje vývoj fágové terapie jako perspektivní alternativy k léčbě bakteriálních infekcí. Hlavní limitací vývoje a přípravy fágových preparátu je splnění legislativních nároků kladených na léčivé přípravky. K těmto kritériím patří i prokázání kvality a účinnosti. The increasing appearance of multiresistant bacteria and the rise of the postantibiotic era show phage therapy as a perspective alternative for antibiotic treatment of bacterial infections.
