Material optimization of coal mill components within Ledvice power plant

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou erozivního opotřebení ventilátorových mlýnů v elektrárně Ledvice. V teoretické části práce jsou přiblíženy hlavní mechanizmy erozivního opotřebení a faktory, které proces opotřebení ovlivňují. Dále je v práci uveden stručný přehled materiálů, které se pro ochranu proti opotřebení ve ventilátorových mlýnech používají. U v současnosti používaných materiálů byly provedeny analýzy a také laboratorní testování erozivní odolnosti. Pro několik alternativních materiálů bylo provedeno stejné testování. Na základě získaných výsledků bylo vytipováno několik materiálů, které lze považovat za efektivní náhradu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of erosive wear of fan mills in the Ledvice power plant. The theoretical part of the work describes the main mechanisms of erosive wear and the factors that affect the wear process. Furthermore, a brief overview of materials used for protection against wear in fan mills is given in the work. Analyzes as well as laboratory testing of erosion resistance have been performed on currently used materials. The same testing was performed for several alternative materials. Based on the obtained results, several materials were selected that can be considered an effective replacement.
