Abstract:
Bakterie rodu Elizabethkingia patří mezi emergentní lidské patogeny, izolované z vody, komárů, žab i několika savců. Infekce způsobené bakteriemi Elizabethkingia spp. jsou vzácné, ale často mohou způsobovat vážné život ohrožující infekce spojené s nemocničním prostředím. Abstract:
Bacteria of the genus Elizabethkingia are emerging human pathogens isolated from water, mosquitoes, frogs, and several groups of mammals. Elizabethkingia infections are rare but often responsible for severe life-threatening hospital-acquired infections.
