Vysoká hladina cholesterolu v krvi zvyšuje riziko ischemické choroby srdeční a dalších kardiovaskulárních onemocnění. První kapitoly zahrnují obecné poznaty o cholesterolu a jeho metabolismu. Raced blood cholesterol level increases a risk of ischemic heart disease and other cardiovascular diseases. First chapters involve general knowledge about cholesterol and its metabolism. Next chapters acquaint with disturbances of lipid matabolism and atherosclerosis. Chapter six is engaged in an effect by lowering cholesterol on ischemic heart disease.
