Corporate social responsibility in relation to the non-profit sector

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá společenskou odpovědností firem ve vztahu k neziskovému sektoru. Tato práce je rozdělena na tři části, a to část teoretickou, metodologickou a empirickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu společenské odpovědnosti, charakteristické rysy, principy a vývoj tohoto konceptu. Dále jsou zde vymezeny pilíře odpovědného podnikání firem a oblast zainteresovaných stran v CSR - tzv. stakeholderů. Závěr teoretické části je věnován spolupráci firem a neziskového sektoru v rámci CSR. Praktická ? metodologická a empirická část si klade za cíl zjistit, jaká je aktuální situace v oblasti společenské odpovědnosti firem a jejího začleňování do firemní strategie. Zjišťování těchto informací bylo provedeno pomocí polostrukturovaného rozhovoru a analýzy dat ve dvou vybraných firmách, které se konceptu společenské odpovědnosti nějakým způsobem věnují a je zde tedy předpoklad, že tento koncept mají začleněn ve své firemní strategii.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with corporate social responsibility in relation to the non-profit sectors. This work is divided into three parts, namely theoretical, methodological and empirical. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concept of social responsibility, characteristics, principles and development of this concept. There are also defined pillars of corporate responsibility and the area of CSR stakeholders. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to cooperation between companies and non-profit sector in the context of CSR. Practical - methodological and empirical parts are focused on the determination of what is the current situation in the area of corporate social responsibility and its integration into corporate strategies. Detection of this information was performed by using semi-structured interview and data analysis of two selected companies that engaged the concept of social responsibility and there is an assumption that this concept has included in its corporate strategy.
