Structure of sessile oak stands (Quercus petraea /Matt./Liebl.) from natural and artificial regeneration in selected stands to the forest district Židlochovice of Lesy ČR, s.p.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním struktury porostů dubu zimního (Quercus petraea) z přirozené a umělé obnovy na lesnické úseku Kobylí, polesí Židlochovice LZ Židlochovice. Převažujícím stanovištěm na lesnickém úseku jsou CHS 24 a CHS 20. Bylo zjištěno, že přirozená obnova zaujímá 85,6 % obnovy porostů dubu na úseku. Mladé porosty s převahou dubu, a to jak z umělé, tak z přirozené obnovy zde splňují pěstební kritéria kladená na tento typ porostu. Současně bylo zjištěno, že porosty z přirozené obnovy májí vyšší druhovou pestrost, a v oplocených částech lepší kvalitu než porosty z umělé obnovy. Porost z přirozené obnovy lépe reagoval na provedený výchovný zásah, než porost z umělé obnovy.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the structure of the sessile oak (Quercus petraea) stands from natural and artificial regeneration on the forestry section Kobylí in the area Židlochovice LZ Židlochovice. The predominant habitat on the forestry section is CHS 24 and CHS 20. The natural regeneration was found to account for 85.6% of the regeneration of the oak stands on the section. Young stands with a predominance of oak, both from artificial and natural regeneration, meet the growing criteria imposed on this type of growth. At the same time, stands from natural regeneration were found to have a higher species diversity, and better quality in fenced parts than those from artificial regeneration. The growth from the natural regeneration responded better to the educational intervention made than the growth from the artificial regeneration.
