The thesis deals with the specifications of the translation of the novel Boumkoeur written by a French author of an Algerian-Sudan origin, Rachid Djaïdani. Práce pojednává o specifičnostech překladu románu Boumkœur francouzského spisovatele alžírsko-súdánského původu Rachida Djaïdaniho. První část práce tvoří náš překlad části románu. Následuje analýza stylistických postupů v díle autora.
