Mobbing as part of clinical education for General Nursing students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá mobbingem studentů Všeobecného ošetřovatelství. Teoretická část vysvětluje tento pojem včetně historického vývoje, příčin, možných následků a také obrany. Cílem praktické části je zjištění prevalence výskytu mobbingu u těchto studentů během klinické výuky na zdravotnických pracovištích. Průzkum byl proveden pomocí dotazníkové šetření za použití Dotazníku negativních aktů (NAQ-R). Z průzkumného souboru bylo mobbováno 24, tj. 75 % respondentů, a to především v zadávání úkolů, které byly pod úroveň jejich kompetencí. Na závěr byl navržen výstup, jak tomuto problému čelit nebo jak s ním pracovat, zároveň byla navržena opatření pro minimalizaci a prevenci.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's thesis deals with bullying of general nursing students. The theoretical part explains this concept including historical development, causes, possible consequences and also defence. The objective of the practical part is to identify the prevalence of mobbing among these students during clinical training at medical workplaces. The survey was conducted using the negative acts questionnaire. (NAQ-R). From the survey file, 24.75% of respondents were bullied, mainly in assigning tasks that were below their level of competence. In conclusion, an outcome was proposed on how to face the problem or how to work with it, while measures were proposed to minimize and prevent it.
