Abstract:

Tato práce představuje stále ještě poměrně novou optimalizační metodu Particle Swarm. První část se věnuje podrobnému teoretickému popisu základních verzí této metody, na který dále navazuje popis jednotlivých modifikací, které postupem času vznikaly. Jsou zde popsány modifikace, které se od základního PSO algoritmu liší pouze v zavedení některých nových parametrů, a modifikace, které se liší celkově v přístupu a pohledu z trochu jiné stránky. Další část práce je věnována implementaci několika vybraných algoritmů a testovacích funkcí, za účelem posouzení efektivity každého z nich. Bylo provedeno testování při různých nastaveních řídících parametrů, jež dokazuje, že každý algoritmus pracuje na daných funkcích jinak.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with a still relatively new optimization method Particle Swarm. The first part is devoted to the detailed theoretical characterization of basic versions of this method. This is followed by the description of individual modification, which were formed in the course of time. It includes description of modification, which differ from the basic PSO algorithm only in the introduction of some new parameters, and modifications which vary generally in access and in another point of view. The second part is devoted to the implementation of some picked algorithms and testing functions to evaluate the effectiveness of each of them. Testing under various setting of control parameters was made, which proves, that every algorithm works at given functions differently.
