Inovation as an instrument for assuring the productivity and higher economical effectiveness of the company

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou inovace z pohledu návratnosti investice spojené s inovací výrobku. Práce má naznačit cestu k efektivnímu a operativnímu hodnocení inovací a podpořit, nebo vyvrátit strategická rozhodnutí. Rozpracovává pojmy inovace, globalizace a demokratická tranzice jako důsledek upadající ekonomické výkonnosti a hospodářské krize. Za cíl si pokládá posouzení navrhované inovace, podložit ji konkrétním šetřením a vyhodnotit celkový efekt s ohledem na zvýšení parametrů k zajištění výkonnosti a vyšší ekonomické účinnosti z pohledu manažerského účetnictví. Na základě analýzy získaných informací o vybraných problémech hodnocení výkonnosti, jejich konfrontace s teoretickými, doposud známými poznatky, doporučuje zaměření na hodnotící parametry vedoucí k vyšší výkonnosti podniku. V závěrečných pasážích dává odpověď na otázku, které z kritérií měření výkonnosti podniku je nejlepší a předkládá jejich doporučení a náměty.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the problem of innovations from the point of view of the return of the investment related to the innovation of the product. The thesis outlines the way to an effective and operative evaluation of innovations, and for evaluation of the key strategic decisions. The thesis deals with the processes of innovation, globalization, and democratic transition as the result of stagnating economic performance and economic crisis. The key aim is the analysis and evaluation of a proposed innovation, its verification with concrete research and evaluation of the overall effect with regard to increasing the parameters of performance and higher efficience from the point of view of managerial accounting. Based on the analysis of the obtained information about the selected problems of performance evaluation, and its confrontation with theoretical, up to date knowledge, the thesis recommends the orientation on evaluation parameters leading to higher effectivity of the company. In the last parts, the thesis answers the key question - which of the criteria of economic performance assesment of a company is the best, and gives suggestions and recommendations in this area.
