The figure of Christ in the Writings of Kazantzakis
Abstract:
This diploma thesis presents the character of Christ in the novels Christ recrucified (1954) and The Last Temptation of Christ (1955) and in the play Nikiphoros Phokas (1956) by a Greek author Nikos Kazantzakis. The aim of the thesis is to show that Christ is a synthesis of: philosophies of Christian, Nietzsche, Bergson, Darwin, Jung's psychology, thoughts of Kazantzakis, Renan, etc. which scandalized …more

Diplomová práca prezentuje charakter Krista v románoch Kristus znova ukrižovaný (1954), Posledné pokušenie (1955) a v tragédii Nikéforos Fókas (1956) od gréckeho spisovateľa Nikosa Kazantzakisa.
