Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem duševní hygieny manažera. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda v současné uspěchané době si manažeři uvědomují důležitost duševní hygieny a zda se jim daří se některými principy duševní hygieny řídit a tím i zachovávat rovnováhu mezi pracovním a osobním životem. Teoretická část seznamuje čtenáře s pojmy, jako je duševní hygiena, stres, workoholismus, syndrom vyhoření. Zároveň se zabývá i jejich příznaky, projevy a dopady na fyzické a psychické zdraví. V praktické části je provedeno šetření formou rozhovorů se čtyřmi manažery z různých oblastí podnikání s cílem zjistit, jak zvládají stresové situace a negativní faktory ovlivňující jejich práci a zda aplikují některé zásady duševní hygieny. Rozhovory jsou doplněny časovými snímky týdne s vysvětlením. V závěru jsou celkové výsledky vyhodnoceny s případnými doporučeními.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of mental hygiene of managers. Its aim is to find out whether in the present hectic times managers are aware of the importance of mental hygiene and whether they are able to follow some of the principles of mental hygiene and keep a balance between work and personal life. The theoretical part introduces the reader to the concepts such as mental hygiene, stress, workoholism, burnout syndrome. It also deals with their symptoms, manifestations and impacts on physical and mental health. In the practical part, a survey in the form of interviews is done – with four managers from different areas of business – to find out how they cope with stressful situations and negative factors affecting their work and whether they apply some mental hygiene principles. The interviews are complemented by time snapshots of the week with an explanation. The overall results are analysed at the end with possible recommendations.
