Abstract:

Design zaměřený na uživatele je zásadní při tvorbě použitelného a zábavného softwaru. Tato práce využívá metody designu zaměřeného na uživatele k návrhu mapové vizualizace karierního růstu, která je součástí firemní aplikace. Zkoumá spojení designu uživatelského zážitku, gamifikace a vizualizace informací a aplikuje principy jejich propojování v designu mapové vizualizace. Při návrhu prototypu vizualizace byla použita metoda designového myšlení – proces návrhu se skládal z iterací, které zahrnovaly uživatelský výzkum, ideaci, prototypování a uživatelské testování. Výsledkem je interaktivní webový prototyp mapové vizualizace, který byl testován s uživateli. Testování ukázalo, že výsledný návrh byl pro uživatele snadno použitelný a poutavý.

Abstract:

The user-centered approach is crucial for designing usable and enjoyable software. This work applies user-centered methods to design a map visualization of career growth in a business application. It studies the connection of user experience design, gamification, and information visualization, and then demonstrates the connection in the map visualization design. The design process of the prototype followed the design thinking method: it was iterative, and the iterations involved user research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing. The result is a web-based interactive prototype of the map visualization, which was tested with users and evaluated as usable and engaging.
