Concept CSR in the business praxis in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá otázkou CSR konceptu. Vychází ze současného stavu s ohlédnutím do minulosti a možnou predikcí budoucnosti. Jejím cílem je popsat koncept Corporate Social Responsibility, analyzovat jeho aktuální stav v české firemní praxi a prognózovat možný vývoj a priority.Práci tvoří dvě stěžejní oblasti. Jedná se o část teoretickou, která pomocí literárních pramenů popisuje teorii koncepce CSR, její vývoj a aktuální reálný stav v podnikatelské praxi a srovnává jej s vybranými zeměmi.Praktická část je zaměřena na aktuální stav CSR v české firemní praxi. Je založena na případových studií zkoumaných firem a hloubkových rozhovorech s jejími představiteli. Rovněž jsou uvedeny další reálné příklady.Na základě prostudované literatury, dostupných dat a rozhovorů s odborníky následuje popis CSR reportingu i možný směr nových trendů ve společensky odpovědné oblasti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the concept of CSR and it is based on the current state of looking back into the past and predicting the future. Its aim is to describe the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, to analyse the current situation in the Czech corporate practices and lastly to predict possible developments and priorities.Work consists of two main areas. The first is a theoretical part, which uses literature to describe the theory of CSR, its improvement and current state of the real business practices, and compares it with selected countries. The second, practical part, is focused on the current state of CSR in the Czech corporate practice. This part is based on case studies researched companies and interviews with its representatives, which also includes more realistic examples. This is also based on the review of the literature, available data and interviews with experts, the work followed by a description of CSR reporting and the possible direction of new trends in the field of socially responsible behaviour.
