Abstract:

This diploma thesis is dedicated to show that employee-engagement policies do influence the overall performance of any given business entity or corporation in a positive way. The main goal of this thesis is to show that if employees are more engaged in business activities like decision-making or setting up future goals than just doing their day-to-day and if they have right to raise their voice and are being heard, it can influence and enhance the performance of a given company. It can generate better results, as engaged employees are more dedicated and responsible to their job. In this thesis, I will try to highlight some situations or statistics along with information that employee engagement benefit organisations. Part of this thesis will also show new trends, which are being followed in recent times in terms of employee engagement. This thesis will provide few examples of good companies, which are known for employee satisfaction and Employee engagement. It will also include the history of employee engagement, progress and how it is seen today.
