Práce zkoumá motivy tvůrců Viktora Frankensteina a Dr. Henryho Jekylla vedoucí k vytvoření umělého monstra a k pokusům se změnou identity člověka. This bachelor thesis focuses on the question of responsibility of the scientists in the works Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. The thesis examines the motives of the creators, namely Victor Frankenstein and Dr. Henry Jekyll, for the creation of an artificial monster and for the attempts to change a person’s identity.
