Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat záměr chování týkající se účasti ve sdílené ekonomice u generace Y na Srí Lance. Studie testuje faktory, které ovlivňují záměr zapojit se speciálně do služeb sdílené mobility a využívá k tomu „Pro-Circular Change Model“ (Muranko at al, 2018) vycházející z teorie plánovaného chování (Ajzen, 1991). Dílčím cílem studie je pak porovnání vztahu národní kultury, která ovlivňuje záměr zapojit se do sdílené mobility, a to u generace Y ve Srí Lance oproti stejné generaci v ČR. Studie ukazuje, že záměr generace Y na Srí Lance vychází z postojů podporujících sdílení, které vycházejí z hodnot environmentálních, ekonomických a sociálních, a dále z vnímané kontroly chování. Naproti tomu tato generace nevykazuje vysoké odhodlání poskytovat sdílené mobilní služby, protože se obává, že tato aktivita nepřináší ekonomický prospěch a současně vykazuje bezpečnostní rizika a rizika spojená s ochranou soukromí. Výsledky dokazují že se feminita, nízké vyhýbání se nejistotě a kolektivistická kultura, jako je tomu na Srí Lance, podporují participaci ve sdílené ekonomice a sdíleném mobilitě. Studie také poskytuje několik doporučení pro poskytovatele služeb sdílené mobility ve Srí Lance.

Abstract:

The main goal of this study is to analyse the behavioural intentions of generation Y in Sri Lanka to participate in shared mobility services. The factors which affect the behavioural intention of participating in shared mobility services is tested using a model developed based on the Pro-Circular Change Model (P-CCM) introduced by Zaneta Muranko, Deborah Andrews, Elizabeth J Newton, Issa Chaer, Philip Proudman, 2018; which is based on the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) introduced by Ajzen, 1991. As a sub-goal, this study analyses if the differences in national culture affect behavioural intention to participate in shared mobility by comparing the behavioural intention of generation Y in Sri Lanka against those in the Czech Republic, using the cultural dimensions introduced by Geert Hofstede in 1980. The study results reveal that the behavioural intentions of generation Y in Sri Lanka to use shared mobility services are backed up by pro-sharing attitudes made of environmental, economic and social values; and perceived behavioural control. In contrast, the generation Y in Sri Lanka did not reflect a high desire to provide shared mobility services given concerns such as there being no economic benefit to the provider and concerns of safety and privacy. The findings support the fact that feminine, low uncertainty avoidance and collectivist cultures such as Sri Lanka favour the participation in sharing economy and shared mobility. The study also provides several implications for shared mobility service providers in Sri Lanka.
