Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce je případovou studií každodenní zkušenosti cyklistů v Brně. Uplatňuje metodu „ride-along“, kterou kombinuje s rozhovory a analýzou videí k pochopení „praktiky“ jízdy na kole v městském prostředí. Tato studie zapracovává nedávný vývoj v oblastech studia mobility, materiality a studia praktik. Tento přístup usnadňuje porozumění tělu, pohybu a jejich významů.
Abstract:
This diploma thesis is a case study of the everyday cyclist experience in Brno, CZ. It utilizes the ride-along methodology combined with interviews and video-analysis to understand practice of cycling in an urban environment. The study incorporates recent developments in mobility, materiality and practice studies. This approach facilitates to understand the body, movements and their meanings.
