The Shoemakers' Guild in Brno
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá ševcovským a obuvnickým cechem v Brně. Hlavním cílem bylo porovnat cechovní statuta pro tento cech a to statuta Karla VI. vydaná 24. prosince 1715 a Marie Terezie vydaná 24. ledna 1761. Přibližuje také problematiku samotného cechovnictví, brněnského hospodářského života a historie obuvi. Příloha obsahuje přepis těchto cechovních statut.
Abstract:
The bachelor's thesis deals with the Brno shoemaker's guild. The main aim was to compare this guild's statutes, namely the Charles VI statute, issued on 24 December 1715, and Maria Theresa statute, issued on 24 January 1761. It also focuses on the issues of guilds themselves, business life in Brno, and the history of footwear. The appendix contains a transcript of those guild statutes.
