Women’s Awareness of the Importance of Postpartum Scar Therapy

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je informovanost žen o významu terapie poporodní jizvy. Teoretická část bakalářské práce se zabývá problematikou jizvení a následně vzniklými komplikacemi. Shrnuje problematiku císařského řezu a porodních poranění. Udává ucelené informace o tom, jaké jsou možnosti v terapii o poporodní jizvy a jak se o jizvy vhodně starat. Praktická část je vytvořena formou dotazníkového šetření, které bylo určeno pro ženy, které podstoupily císařský řez nebo mají poporodní poranění a jejich porod nebyl starší roku 2013. Byla vytvořena informační brožura, která obsahuje chronologické informace o tom, jak o jizvy správně pečovat a návody ve formě obrázků na příslušné techniky. Hlavním cílem této práce je poukázat na problematiku poporodní jizvy a jejího vztahu k okolním tkáním a zlepšit povědomí žen o možných metodách, tak aby byly v rámci autoterapie schopné se o svou jizvu patřičně starat.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor thesis is women's awareness of the importance of postpartum scar therapy. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with the issue of scarring and subsequent complications. It summarizes the issues of caesarean section and birth injuries. It gives comprehensive information on what are the options in the treatment of postpartum scars and how to care for scars appropriately. The practical part is designed in the form of a questionnaire survey, which was intended for women who had a caesarean section or had postpartum injuries and their delivery was not older than 2013. An information booklet was created, which contains chronological information on how to care for scars properly and instructions in the form of pictures on the relevant techniques. The main aim of this thesis is to highlight the issue of postpartum scar and its relationship to the surrounding tissues and to improve women's awareness of possible methods so that they are able to take proper care of their scar in the context of self-therapy.
