In this thesis we describe random variables, concretely their limit properties and numerical characteristics of discrete random variables. V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme náhodným veličinám, konkrétně jejich limitním vlastnostem a číselným charakteristikám diskrétních náhodných veličin. Každá ze dvou teoretických částí je doplněna ručně řešenými příklady na procvičení a upevnění nabytých teoretických poznatků.
