Abstract:
Některé druhy borelií vyvolávající návratnou horečku formují agregáty s erytrocyty, nazývané rozety. Tvorba rozet je spojena se závažnějším průběhem onemocnění a opožděnou imunitní odpovědí. To naznačuje, že by se mohlo jednat o důležitý virulentní faktor. Abstract:
Some relapsing fever Borrelia species form aggregates with erythrocytes termed rosettes. Erythrocyte rosetting is associated with more severe symptoms of disease and a delayed immune response, suggesting that rosetting represents an important virulence factor.
