Update of the agroclimatological conditions of the wine-growing sub-region

Abstract:

Znojemská vinařská podoblast je významným producentem kvalitních vín v České republice. Aby bylo možné i nadále zachovat jejich kvalitu, a pěstovat kvalitní hrozny je nezbytné sledovat vývoj měnícího se klimatu. Praktická část diplomové práce se zaměřuje na analýzu 4. normálového období (1991 – 2020), kde hodnocenými parametry jsou data naměřená na meteorologické stanici v Kuchařovicích a následný výpočet jednotlivých indexů, které se k révě vinné vztahují – suma aktivních teplot 10 °C, suma efektivních teplot 10 °C a Heliometrický index. Z analyzovaných dat je patrný rostoucí trend průměrných teplot vzduchu, a s tím spojené rostoucí trendy klimatických indexů, které se k révě vinné vážou. I přes tyto trendy hodnotíme Znojemskou vinařskou podoblast jako lokalitu s výbornými podmínkami pro pěstování révy vinné.

Abstract:

The Znojmo wine sub-region is a major producer of quality wines in the Czech Republic. In order to continue to maintain their quality and to grow quality grapes, it is essential to monitor development of changing climate. The practical part of the thesis focuses on the analysis of the 4th referential period (1991 – 2020), where the evaluated parameters are the data measured at the meteorological station in Kuchařovice and the subsequent calculation of individual indices related to the grapevine – the sum of active temperatures 10, the sum of effective temperatures 10 and the heliometric index. The analysed data show an increasing trend in average air temperatures, which is associated with increasing trends in climate indices related to grapevine. Despite these trends, we evaluate the Znojmo wine sub-region as a location with excellent conditions for growing grapevine
