Great exhibitions of the 1890s in Prague and the role of art within their concepts
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the great exhibitions of the 1890s in Prague. Jubilee Exhibition 1891, Ethnical Exhibition 1895 and the Exhibition of Architecture and Engineering 1898 were not primarily concentrated on art but art played significant role within their concepts. Táto bakalárska práca sa venuje trom pražským výstavám, ktoré sa odohrali v 90. rokoch 19. storočia v Prahe. Jubilejná výstava z roku 1891, Národopisná výstava konaná v roku 1895 a Výstava architektúry a inžinierstva z roku 1898 neboli výstavy umelecké, ale umenie v ich konceptoch plnilo rôzne úlohy.
