Motivation for joining the Active Reserve of the Army of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Téma této bakalářská práce je zaměřeno na motivaci pro vstup do aktivní zálohy Armády České republiky. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit motivační faktory, které nejvíce ovlivňují vstup případných uchazečů do aktivní zálohy Armády ČR, a navrhnout možná doporučení pro zlepšení současné situace. Práce bude rozdělena na dvě části, a to teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části budou popsány základní informace a poznatky o aktivní záloze a dané legislativě, s podmínkami přijetí do aktivní zálohy, a to včetně náležitostí při náboru nových příslušníků. Další kapitola se věnuje charakteristice motivační teorie a dále pak je zde zmíněna také pracovní motivace vnitřních a vnějších potřeb. V empirické části bakalářské práce bude použita kvantitativní metoda prostřednictvím vlastního dotazníkového šetření, které bude provedeno u náhodného vzorku občanů z řad veřejnosti a u vojáků aktivní zálohy pěší roty u Krajského vojenského velitelství Jihlava. Výstupem kvantitativního šetření tohoto průzkumu bude vyhodnocení hlavní motivace pro vstup do aktivní zálohy a možná doporučení pro zlepšení současné situace.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is focused on the motivation for joining the active reserve of the Army of the Czech Republic. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out the motivational factors which most influence the entry of potential applicants into the active reserve of the Army of the Czech Republic and to suggest possible recommendations for improving the current situation. The work will be divided into two parts, theoretical and empirical. In the theoretical part, basic information and knowledge about the active reserve and the given legislation will be described, with the conditions of admission to the active reserve, including the requirements for recruiting new members. The next chapter is devoted to the characteristics of the motivational theory, and work motivation of internal and external needs is also mentioned here. In the empirical part of the bachelor's thesis, a quantitative method using a self-questionnaire survey, which will be conducted with a random sample of citizens from the public and with soldiers of the active reserve of the infantry company at the Jihlava Regional Military Headquarters, will be used. The output of the quantitative investigation of this survey will be an evaluation of the main motivation for joining the active reserve and possible recommendations for improving the current situation.
