Furniture elements in the therapist´s office - design of seating solitaire

Abstract:

Hlavním úkolem bakalářské práce je návrh sedacího solitéru – křesla do pracovny terapeuta. Práce je dále rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje stručný popis prostoru a interiéru terapeutické pracovny, sedacího nábytku, dále též antropometrii, ergonomii a bezpečnostní požadavky na sedací čalouněný nábytek. Návrh křesla vychází z potřeb dotazovaných terapeutů. Křeslo je navrženo jako konstrukce z bukové překližky a bukového masivu s pevným čalouněním. Analýza trhu, rešerše a postup vývoje návrhu jsou součástí praktické části, stejně jako modelové ověření mechanických vlastností v podobě numerické metody konečných prvků a stability. Práce obsahuje přílohy s výkresovou dokumentací, vizualizacemi a fotografiemi výsledného modelu křesla.

Abstract:

The main task of the bachelor thesis is to design a seating solitaire – an armchair for a therapist's office. The thesis is further divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part includes a brief description of the space and interior of the therapist's office, seating furniture, as well as anthropometry, ergonomics and safety requirements for upholstered seating furniture. The design of the armchair is based on the needs of the interviewed therapists. The chair is designed as a construction of beech plywood and solid beech with solid upholstery. A market analysis, research and design development process is included in the practical part, as well as model validation of the mechanical properties in the form of numerical finite element and stability methods. The thesis includes appendices with drawings, visualizations and photographs of the resulting armchair model.
