Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hudební a textařskou tvorbou skladatele Tobiase Sammeta. První část práce je věnována zasazení autorovy umělecké činnosti do kontextu heavymetalové hudby, stručné charakteristice evropského power metalového subžánru, a v neposlední řadě pak nastínění fenoménu rockové opery. This bachelor thesis is concerning the composing and lyrical creation of a composer Tobias Sammet. The first part of the thesis is dedicated to put the author's artistic activity in the context of heavymetal music, a brief characteristic of european power metal subgenre and last but not least, outline the phenomenon of rock opera.
