Unemployment in Leipzig at the Turn of the Millennium Focusing on the Period from 1996 to 2006

Abstract:

This bachelor work concerns the topic ?The unemployment in Leipzig at the turn of millennium with the emphasis on the time period from 1996 till 2006. The work deals with the development of the employment market in the East German city, Leipzig, which is situated in the former German Democratic Republic. The causes and consequences of unemployment in the united Germany are also taken into account.

Abstract:

Diese Abschlussarbeit befasst sich mit dem Thema ?Arbeitslosigkeit in Leipzig um die Jahrtausendwende mit dem Schwerpunkt auf den Zeitraum von 1996 bis 2006. Im Mittelpunkt dieser Abschlussarbeit steht die ostdeutsche Stadt Leipzig, deren Entwicklung des Arbeitsmarktes näher untersucht wird. Dabei werden Ursachen und Folgen für die Existenz der Arbeitslosigkeit im vereinten Deutschland genannt.
