Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce má název Role sociálního pracovníka při naplňování duchovních potřeb klientů žijících v křesťanském domově pro seniory. V této práci bude řešen problém, zda jsou duchovní potřeby klientů naplňovány a jakým způsobem. Konkrétně zde budeme řešit potřeby klientů žijících v institucionalizovaném zařízení. Důležitou úlohu zde zastává sociální pracovník, takže se zaměříme na jeho pomoc klientům. Cílem diplomové práce je charakterizovat roli sociálního pracovníka v domově pro seniory při uplatňování a naplňování duchovních potřeb klientů. Diplomová práce se skládá z teoretické a výzkumné části. Teoretická část se bude zaměřovat na vysvětlení pojmů - jakou službu poskytuje domov pro seniory, jak člověka v jeho životě zasahuje, ovlivňuje a mění jeho stáří, jaké jsou jeho potřeby a jakým způsobem prožívá svou religiozitu vč. duchovních potřeb. Dále bude vysvětleno, jaká je role sociálního pracovníka v tomto zařízení a jaká je jeho interakce s klienty při naplňování jejich duchovních potřeb. Ve výzkumné části bude popsán zkoumaný problém a účel výzkumu, budou nastoleny výzkumné otázky, metoda sběru dat a vzorek informantů. Výzkum bude prováděn formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s informanty, kterými jsou sociální pracovníci a duchovní (pastor). V závěrečné části práce budou data analyzována.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis is entitled The role of the social worker in meeting the spiritual needs of clients living in a Christian home for the elderly. In this work, the problem of whether the spiritual needs of clients are being met and in what way will be solved. Specifically, we will address the needs of clients living in an institutionalized facility. A social worker plays an important role here, so we will focus on his help to clients. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the role of a social worker in a home for the elderly in applying and fulfilling the spiritual needs of clients. The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part will focus on the explanation of concepts - what kind of service does a home for the elderly provide, how does old age affect, influence and change a person in their life, what are their needs and how do they experience their religiosity, incl. spiritual needs. Furthermore, it will be explained what is the role of the social worker in this facility and what is his interaction with the clients in fulfilling their spiritual needs. In the research part, the investigated problem and the purpose of the research will be described, research questions, data collection method and a sample of informants will be raised. The research will be conducted in the form of a semi-structured interview with informants who are social workers and with a pastor. In the final part of the work, the data will be analyzed.
