Young caregivers in long-term care

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na oblast mladistvých pečovatelů, kteří jsou součástí dlouhodobé neformální péče. Cílem diplomové práce je analyzovat specifika dlouhodobé péče u mladistvých pečovatelů. Cílem teoretické části je objasnit výchozí rámec teoretických a metodologických hledisek pro výzkumnou část práce. Z těchto důvodů se v teoretické části věnuji adolescenci a dlouhodobé péči. Větší pozornost věnuji neformální dlouhodobé péči a mladistvým pečovatelům, kteří jsou stěžejní pro pochopení kontextu diplomové práce. Cílem výzkumné části bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem ovlivňuje dlouhodobá péče životní podmínky mladistvých pečovatelů. Pro porozumění této problematice jsem zvolila kvalitativní strategii. Dále jsou analyzována data a následuje diskuze.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the area of young caregivers, who are part of long-term informal care. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the specifics of long-term care of young caregivers. The aim of the theoretical part is to clarify the initial framework of theoretical and methodological aspects for the research part of the thesis. For these reasons, the theoretical part is devoted to adolescence and long-term care. I pay more attention to informal long-term care and to young caregivers, who are crucial to understanding the context of the thesis. The aim of the research part was to find out how long-term care affects the living conditions of young caregivers. To understand this issue, I chose a qualitative strategy. In this part, the obtained data are analyzed and the discussion follows.
