Floristic competitions and their importance for development in the field

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Floristické soutěže a jejich význam pro rozvoj v oboru“ blíže popisuje historii světového floristického sdružení FLEUROP-FTD-INTERFLORA. První část práce mapuje významné floristické soutěže v zahraničí i v rámci České republiky. Zabývá se jejich organizací, propozicemi a systémem hodnocení. Druhá část se zaměřuje na floristickou soutěž Brněnská růže, kde stručně popisuje historii a vývoj soutěže. Detailně přibližuje průběh soutěže, organizaci, propozice a systém hodnocení. Rozpracovává možné téma propozic pro budoucí ročník floristické soutěže Brněnská růže, dále podrobněji popisuje systém hodnocení soutěže. Bakalářskou práci doplňuje obsáhlá přílohová část s fotodokumentací ze soutěží a je doplněna rozhovory s reprezentanty floristických soutěží.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis: "Floristic competitions and their importance for development in the field" describes in details the history of the world floristic association called FLEUROP-FTD-INTERFLORA. The first part of the work maps out the important floristic competitions abroad and within the Czech Republic. With a focus on their organization, propositions, and evaluation system. The second part focuses on the floristic competition called Brno Rose, where it briefly describes the history and development of the competition. It describes in detail the course of the competition, organization, propositions, and evaluation system. Also, it elaborates the topic of propositions for the following year of the floristic competition Brno Rose and further describes in more detail the system of competition evaluation. The bachelor's thesis is completed by an extensive large scope of work including photo documentation from the competitions and is supplemented by interviews with representatives of floristic competitions.
