Práca sa zaoberá úlohou Spojených arabských emirátov v súčasnom blízkovýchodnom vývoji z hľadiska bezpečnosti. SAE, ako významný hráč v regióne, zohrávajú dôležitú úlohu vo formovaní bezpečnostnej dynamiky na Blízkom východe.
