Tacitus a jeho dílo se věnuje principátu a skrze něj je možné porozumět mentalitě doby a změnám v politické situaci. This thesis is focused on the Tacitus as the as a source of ideas about the government of the Roman emperors and the nature of state power. Tacitus and his work deals with principat and through it is possible to understand the mentality of the time and changes in the political situation.
