Use of Brownfields for Business Purposes

Abstract:

Pojem brownfield lze interpretovat jako „hnědé pole“. V posledních letech se tento pojem vžil do české terminologie a lze říci, že se jedná především o opuštěné objekty, areály nebo často devastovaná území po průmyslu, které ztratily své původní využití. Brownfieldy mohou představovat rozsáhlá území vojenských kasáren, nadbytečné plochy železnic a bývalé socialistické zemědělské areály, které jsou především na okraji obcí. Dále lze za brownfieldy považovat bývalé jednoty nebo objekty, které byly dříve využívány pro potřeby občanské vybavenosti, a to především v malých městech a obcích. Cílem práce bude uvést možné způsoby využití brownfieldů soukromým sektorem na daném území. Bakalářská práce se bude opírat o primární data, která budou zjištěna především z vlastního výzkumu, ale i ze sekundárních dat, které budou zjištěny přes jednotlivé zdroje a databáze, které se touto problematikou zabývají. Bakalářská práce bude mít důraz na možné způsoby využití opuštěných objektů a areálů na daném území soukromým sektorem.

Abstract:

The term brownfield can be interpreted as "brown field". In recent years, this term has become part of Czech terminology and can be said to refer primarily to abandoned buildings, sites or often devastated areas after industry that have lost their original use. Brownfields can represent large areas of military barracks, redundant railway areas and former socialist agricultural sites, which are mainly on the outskirts of villages. In addition, brownfields can be considered as former units or buildings that were formerly used for civic amenities, especially in small towns and villages. The aim of the thesis will be to indicate possible ways of using brownfields by the private sector in the given area. The bachelor thesis will be based on primary data, which will be found mainly from own research, but also from secondary data, which will be found through individual sources and databases dealing with this issue. The bachelor thesis will have an emphasis on the possible uses of abandoned buildings and sites in the area by the private sector.
