A Proposal for a Sensor System for The Transmission of Telemetry

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá možností přenosu telemetrie z pohybujícího se modelu. Jsou popsány důvody, proč je nutné přetížení hlavně letícího modelu brát vážně. V teoretické části je popsána historie RC techniky, senzory vhodné pro měření přetížení, ale i další sen-zory vhodné pro telemetrické účely. Dále se teoretická část zabývá popisem komunikačních rozhraní mezi senzory a řídícím mikropočítačem. V praktické části je řešena důležitost měřit přetížení a praktický vliv na zanedbání tohoto vlivu. Poté se práce zabývá tvorbou prototypu senzoru pro měření přetížení v letadle. Pro účely této práce byl vytvořen rozebíratelný prototyp senzoru přetížení na platformě Ar-duino, který je popsán v závěrečné kapitole.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the possibility of telemetry transmission from a moving model. In this thesis the reasons why it is necessary to take the overload especially of flying model seriously is described. In the theoretical part the history of RC technology, suitable sensors for measuring overload and also other sensors appropriate for telemetry purposes are men-tioned. The theory involves the chapter describing the communication interface between the sensors and the control microcomputer as well. In the experimental part the importance of measuring overloading and the practical impact of ignorance of this phenomenon is discussed. Further the thesis deals with the con-struction of a sensor prototype for detection an overload of the plane. For the purposes of this thesis the dismountable prototype of overload sensor was created on the Arduino plat-form and described in the final chapter.
