Bats (Chiroptera) of ostravian dumps

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo zjistit druhovou diverzitu a letovou aktivitu skupiny Chiroptera na čtyřech vzájemně se lišících odvalech v Ostravě. Výzkum probíhal v roce 2015 na haldách Ema, Heřmanice, Hrabůvka a Odra. Byla zvolena metoda liniových transektů s vyhodnocením pozitivních minut. Na každé lokalitě byly vybrány tři odlišné transekty (uzavřený, otevřený, polootevřený). K pozorování byl použit detektor Petterson D240X v heterodynovacím režimu. Během letní sezóny 2015 byly provedeny tři kontroly všech transektů na každé lokalitě. Zjištěno bylo minimálně 7 druhů netopýrů čeledi Vespertilionidae: netopýr rezavý (Nyctalus noctula), netopýr hvízdavý (Pipistrellus pipistrellus), netopýr nejmenší (Pipistrellus pygmaeus), netopýr velký (Myotis myotis), netopýr vodní (Myotis daubentoni), netopýr večerní (Eptesicus serotinus) a netopýr vousatý/Brandtův (Myotis mystacinus/brandtii). Z celkové doby 360 detektorovacích minut byla letová aktivita zaznamenána v 16,1 % (58 min+) s dominancí Nyctalus noctula a Pipistrellus pipistrellus. Nejvyšší druhovou diverzitu (6 druhů) a celkovou letovou aktivitu vykazuje odval Hrabůvka, naopak nejnižší diverzitu i aktivitu odval Odra (2 druhy). Nejideálnějším habitatem, který byl na všech lokalitách provázen nejvyšší druhovou diverzitou, se jeví polootevřený liniový biotop se zastoupením vzrostlých stromů i keřového patra v blízkosti vodního tělesa.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to determine the species diversity and intensity of flight activity of bat of four ostravian dumps. The monitoring was carried out on dumps Ema, Heřmanice, Hrabůvka and Odra in 2015. The method of line- transect with the evaluation of positive minutes was chosen. At each location were selected three different transects (closed, opened, semi-opened). The Petterson´s detector D420 in the heterodyne regime was used for the observation. Three visits of all transects to each of the dumps were carried out during the summer season in 2015. There were found at least seven species of bats of the family Vepsertilinoidae, namely: Nyctalus noctula, Pipistrellus pipistrellus, Pipistrellus pygmaeus, Myotis myotis, Myotis daubentonii, Eptesicus serotinus and Myotis mystacinus/brandtii. In total, 360 minutes of records, of which 58 minutes were positive, with species domination of Nyctalus noctula a Pipistrellus pipistrellus. The highest species diversity and total flight activity was observed on location Hrabůvka (six species) on the contrary with dump Odra (two species and the lowest flight activity). The ideal habitat, with the highest species diversity on each dump, seems to be semi-opened line transect with all vegetation layers near water surface.
