Analysis of adaptation problems related to addiction syndrome

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je stanovit, jaké adaptační potíže se vyskytují ve spojitosti se syndromem závislosti a zjištěné informace poté analyzovat. V teoretické části jsou vymezena potřebná teoretická východiska, například otázky týkající se společenského uplatnění, syndromu závislosti, zátěžových situací a jejich zvládání pomocí adaptačních mechanizmů. Praktická část předkládá výsledky výzkumného šetření a analýzu sebraných dat od vybraného souboru respondentů. Vzhledem ke stanovenému cíli práce je zvolen výzkumný problém deskriptivního charakteru, který má za cíl dotazníkovým šetřením zjistit, zda se u osob se syndromem závislosti vyskytují adaptační potíže. Výzkumný vzorek je sestaven ze 172 respondentů žijících v Ústeckém kraji, trpících syndromem závislosti. Adaptační potíže jsou rozčleněny do tří skupin: somatické, psychické a sociální. Sledovány jsou jednotlivé skupiny adaptačních potíží dle posuzovaných hledisek, kterými jsou věk, pohlaví, vzdělání a rodinný stav. Součástí diplomové práce jsou konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro praxi v oboru sociální pedagogiky a dalších disciplín tzv. pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to determine what adaptation difficulties occur in connection with addiction syndrome and then analyze the information found. The theoretical part defines the necessary theoretical basis, for example, questions about social application, dependency syndrome, stressful situations and their management with adaptation mechanisms. The practical part presents the results of the research survey and analysis of the collected data from the selected set of respondents. Due to the stated objective of the work, a research problem of a descriptive nature is chosen. The aim of the questionnaire survey is to determine whether people with addiction syndrome are experiencing adaptation problems. The research sample is compiled from 172 respondents living in the Ústí region suffering from addiction syndrome. Adaptation difficulties are divided into three groups: somatic, psychological and social. Individual groups of adaptation difficulties are monitored according to the aspects assessed, such as age, gender, education and marital status. The thesis includes specific conclusions and recommendations for practice in the field of social pedagogy and other disciplines of so-called helping professions.
